Unity 4.0 + GNOME Shell 3.6

Unity 4.0 (デスクトップ環境のUnity ではなくUnity3D の方)がリリースされたので、フリー版をUbuntu 12.10 x86_64, Linux kernel 3.5.0, GNOME Shell 3.6.1 + Wine 1.5.17 の環境で試してみよう。

Ubuntu 12.10 + Unity 4.0
Unity 4.0 で作成したアプリをUbuntu 12.10 x86_64 上で動かしてみました。Unity 4.0 ではLinux 向けにネイティブアプリを出力できるようになっています。ビルドの設定では「x86」、「x86_64 」、「x86 + x86_64 (Universal)」が選択できます。Windows 8 の環境では以下のように表示されました。 ちなみに、過去(2009年なのでバージョン2.6 かな)のバージョンのUnity で作成したIsland Demo のWindows 向けロードモジュールがハードディスクの中にあったのでWine で動かしてみました。問題なく動きました。 Edit:Unity 4.0 で出力されたLinux 用実行形式ファイルの情報はこんな感じ。 $ file MyFirst.x86*MyFirst.x86: ELF 32-bit LSB executable, Intel 80386, version 1 (SYSV), dynamically linked (uses shared libs), for...

MMD for Unity on Linux
http://mmd-for-unity-proj.github.io/mmd-for-unity/ Unity 3D のLinux 版でMMD を取り込んでみました。 MMD for Unity のダウンロード http://mmd-for-unity-proj.github.io/mmd-for-unity/ を開きます。DOWNLOADS ボタンのリンク先のマスターブランチは少し古いのでブランチを切り替えることにします。 View on GitHub ボタンをクリックして、リポジトリでブランチを2.1.1b に切り替えます。 Download ZIP をクリックしてダウンロードして、プロジェクトのAssets ディレクトリに展開します。 メニューに[MMD for Unity] が表示されます。 PMD のインポート Assets の中のPMD モデルファイルを選択します。 Inspector でConvert to Perfabを選択します。 とやったような気がする。
